The Process

The process starts with exploratory discussions and visioning sessions, and proceeds through planning and implementation.

We have a 3-Step approach that is easily customized to your particular needs. We will work with your team to help define the problem, envision viable solutions, facilitate the decision-analysis for project definition and funding, structure the implementation plans, develop success measures, and either lead or assist in the implementation.

Key attributes of our process are collaboration, measurement, and scalability.  We operate in a very collaborative style that engenders trust and active participation from managers at all levels.  One of the most significant differentiators of our service is that we build success measures into the implementation plan.  This not only creates team ownership and buy-in, but also greatly clarifies the plan for all involved.  Plans that we help build usually start at the macro-level, but quickly evolve to the level of granularity and scope necessary for the implementation to be successful.

Step One

Problem definition and objectives setting.

In Step One, we will meet with key personnel in sessions structured to identify the key objectives and vital parameters that define success for your initiative.  Information from this phase will be used to develop the content for a customized plan of action, that can support the decision-analysis needed to fund and structure a successful technology project and provide the information required for successive steps in the process.

Step Two

Develop solution scenarios and macro-level plans.

In Step Two, we help you develop a short list of solution scenarios that will best meet your objectives and enable you to effectively sell and launch your project.  Each solution scenario will include macro-level scope, implementation steps and cost estimates, manpower requirements, success measures, risk assessments, contingency planning issues, and critical path determinations.

Step Three

Develop detail level plans and project implementation.

In Step Three, we help you develop the detail plans necessary for implementation of the appropriate customized solution.  This step is where we would develop a set of measurements imbedded in the implementation plan that can be used to both motivate the implementation team and measure their effectiveness. Each component of the plan is based upon carefully linked scope, quality measures, and timetable.  We can also structure this step so that we act as project advisor, project manager, or simply turn over all duties to your implementation team.
